Mount Everest Speed Summit - North Side

Push your physical and mental limits by climbing to the top of the world. Our Speed Summit program allows you to summit in less than half the time of a normal expedition!  At 29,029 ft (8848 meters), Mount Everest, known to locals as Sagarmatha, is undoubtedly on every climber’s bucket list. This mythical peak is still the ultimate mountaineering challenge and adventure. Standing at the pinnacle of the Earth is one of life’s most rewarding experiences.

Valhalla Mountain Guides is proud to offer our Mt. Everest Speed Summit program. This is a customized itinerary that fits your timeline, experience, and fitness. Our expeditions take place from Tibet on the North Side of Mt. Everest. This keeps us and our team from having to trek through the Khumbu Icefall. If the Chinese government does not open the mountain for any reason, we always have the opportunity to pivot to the South Side.

During this program we will utilize Hypoxico High Altitude Simulators in the home setting to pre-acclimatize for the tallest mountain on the planet. Upon arrival, we will implement the fastest possible itinerary to arrive at basecamp. This reduces the amount of time spent traveling, decreasing the likelihood of getting sick (one of the great expedition killers). Since we will have pre-acclimatized, we will only do one rotation higher on the mountain before our summit push. Our team will consist of Nepal and Tibets strongest Sherpa support, including two high altitude climbing Sherpa, and your American IFMGA Certified Mountain Guide. We will have extra oxygen and the strongest basecamp and support team in order to make this Speed Summit possible.

At Valhalla Mountain Guides we believe the Speed Summit program reduces the overall risks of the expedition. This program is created for people who want to explore the far reaches of the earth without the multiple months-long time commitment. We are proud to help more people access these areas and are committed to the success and safety of all our climbers and Sherpa support.
